Revista Española de Electrónica, one of Spain's premier media outlet, published an eSOL technical article regarding our eMCOS high-performance, scalable RTOS which adopts distributed microkernel OS technology.
In recent years, Electric Vehicles (EV) have required higher performance computing with low power consumption, in addition to safety – resulting in increased demands for heterogeneous multicore/manycore processors to be able to process various tasks with high efficiency. eSOL provides a distributed microkernel OS enabling to meet the needs of tomorrow's EV.
In this article, we are explaining the required changes to maximize performance and safety of EV from the view point of both hardware and software, and are introducing the many beneficial features of eSOL's eMCOS.
