A software stack that facilitates development of autonomous driving applications must also support real-time determinism for functional-safety certification. In this article, Akihiko Tsukuda, Executive Officer, Software Engineering at eSOL, introduces our ROS on eMCOS solution, which combines ROS framework with a safety-certified POSIX RTOS and enables seamless integration of Autoware applications with safety certification.
